The fighting bomber Zoid Salamander was developed during the the old Central Continent War. It is the largest flying Zoid in Republic history. Salamander can fly at an altitude of 10,000 metres. This, along with its superior bomb-loading, makes it the ace of the sky. Salamander has the ability to lead the Republic to victory in this war, however mass-production of this Zoid was impossible during the Western Continent War.
Salamander has been sent back into the battle for the war on the dark continent.

Battle Story
ZAC-2101… The Republic’s remodelled Ultrasaurus is the main unit of the force landing on the dark continent Nyx. In order to obstruct this force the Empire sent out its pilotless bomber Zabat. The Republic’s Storm Sworder, forming a defensive air party with Raynos, went to intercept the Zabats. However they were in a bitter position against the Zabats, who have no fear death. Spinosapper provided support fire from the ground with its anti-air artillery. Together they desperately defended the Ultrasaurus.
The Imperial Whale King neared the battlefield but before dropping the Zabat party it fired at the sky battle ahead.
With the Republic’s troops in crisis, the Republic HQ send out their new enormous air Zoid. Now the extra large bomber Salamander, whose test flights have not yet been completed, has been sent into battle!
